An upright for the next generation — The Yamaha B2E PM Upright Piano in Polished Mahogany 113cm

For more than a century, Yamaha Corporation has crafted fine pianos with precision and passion. Drawing on that heritage, the b Series was created to inspire the next generation of musicians. As a result, the b2e offers an elegant and compact design combined with a clear, resonant tone.

Whether you are a beginner, an ambitious student, or an experienced pianist, this upright responds with precision and musical warmth. Above all, it delivers an enjoyable and reliable playing experience every day.

Small space, big sound

Although compact in size, the Yamaha B2E PM produces a surprisingly full sound. Inspired by the renowned U Series, it features soundboards and ribs crafted from premium spruce tonewood. Consequently, the piano delivers depth and projection that exceed typical entry-level expectations.

Back posts, forward thinking

Thanks to years of advanced research, including Yamaha’s proprietary wood-drying process, the back posts retain their strength and shape over time. Therefore, the instrument maintains structural stability and tonal resonance for many years.

Advanced V-Pro frame

Yamaha pioneered the V-Pro Vacuum Shield Mold casting technology to create stronger and lighter frames. Each b Series piano features a full-perimeter frame built to exacting standards at the Iwata Forge in Japan. As a result, the structure is both durable and acoustically efficient.

Hand-wound bass strings

At Yamaha’s Kakegawa factory in Japan, skilled artisans oversee the winding of pure copper bass strings. Moreover, each string is individually balanced and tensioned to meet the exact tonal profile of the b Series.
