Intuitive Design and Tuning
With a 22” diameter, this handpan features the popular D Kurd scale (A4/a’ 440 Hz) and offers 10 harmonically balanced notes. Anyone can enjoy its relaxing sound, regardless of musical experience, because every note complements the others. You can explore freely without worrying about wrong notes.
The root note sits at the center, while nine surrounding pitch fields complete the scale. Together, they produce a pure, calming, and resonant sound that invites creativity and relaxation.
Immersive Sound Experience
Two outward-facing sound holes on the underside create a fully immersive listening experience for both the player and the audience. Each Sensory Handpan includes two removable sound tubes that let you shape the instrument’s tonal character. Place the longer tube in the sound hole facing the lower pitches and the shorter tube in the one facing the higher pitches for optimal balance.
This immersive design makes the handpan ideal for sound healing retreats, sound baths, meditation sessions, or quiet moments in the morning or before sleep. It also serves as a welcoming gateway to relaxation and melodic exploration.
