Superb ’60s sound
Voiced for sonic excellence. Featuring a pair of exquisite H-52 mini-humbucker pickups, the ’67 Viking offers a tone suited to absolutely every genre. The bridge pickup is crisp and bright, hosting enough versatility to kick out anything from scorching leads, to rhythmic, percussive tones. Combine it with the melodic, rounded voice of the neck pickup, and you’ve got a beautifully characterful guitar sound. And it goes without saying that these unique pickups are perfect for those sweet ’60s rock tones.
But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Because the incredible electronics of the ’67 Viking have one neat addition. Coil splitting. Simply activated via the push/pull tone knobs, players can switch between the fat, warm sound of a humbucker, and the snappy quality of a single-coil. Topped off with two tone and volume controls, along with a 3-way selector, the ’67 Viking presets an instrument of supreme flexibility. And it shines in every performance.

It chimes like a bell. The semi-hollow body of the Hagstrom ’67 Viking gives it a loud, proud voicing with a superb resonance. Two carved ‘f’ holes add a beautiful aesthetic, whilst the body itself rings out with unmistakable warmth and vibrance. It also provides a strong sustain to help you extend your notes out and make each string bend shine. That’s all in addition to it looking absolutely stunning.
Play to perfection
Smooth sailing. The combination of a Resinator wood fretboard and Canadian hard maple neck makes for a flawless playing experience. The resonator fretboard is incredibly stable, with a bright, punchy tone similar to ebony. This helps to add detail to each note you play, and make it more prominent. The neck also has a bright resonance, whilst being more than smooth enough to allow your hand fluid manoeuvrability across the entire fretboard. You’ll play tighter and cleaner than ever before.
